“Pigs in Paradise”, “Sea Venice” and now “FantaSea Venice!” This public art project, sponsored by Venice Art Center (VAC), will feature a total of 50 seahorses and mermaids that will be uniquely hand painted by chosen artists. There are a variety of sponsorship opportunities and once sponsors and artists have been matched, a plaque will be placed at the base of each sculpture to indicate the name of the sponsor, artist and the sculpture itself. Our agency team is excited to partner with a local artist and provide updates along the way as our seahorse comes to life!
As part of the initiative, there will be multiple public activities, fundraisers, and entertaining events celebrating this project, including a “kick off” event with food, beverage and entertainment. The sculptures will be prominently displayed throughout the Venice area for two years. A live auction of the sculptures will be held to conclude the project in 2023. The event will be promoted through the use of the web, social media, publications, outreach, FantaSea Venice maps, and our media sponsor.
