David Joyner ~ a sports enthusiast, musician, dad of two sons, and Insurance Agency Owner.
David is an experienced business professional with strong ties to the Venice community. A graduate of Venice High School, David proudly attended Wake Forest University – Go Deacs! – and later spent many years working within the finance and public accounting industry as a CPA. In making a career shift, David joined his father’s State Farm agency before fulfilling his own dream of becoming a business owner with the launch of Joyner Family Insurance. He enjoys volunteering with the SERTOMA Club, coaching youth sports, and serving on numerous non-profit boards, which have included the Community Foundation of Sarasota County, the Venice Area Chamber of Commerce, the Venice Symphony, the Venice Art Center, and Rotary Futures. In his spare time, David loves to play golf, watch sports, and enjoys music – in fact, he was a concert pianist! But most importantly, David loves spending time with his wife, Caitlin, and two sons, Austin and Miles.
