Lea LaRocque ~ a retired soccer mom, mimi of five grandchildren, and Insurance Agent.
Lea is a licensed insurance agent who leads our Welcoming Team that focuses on our personal lines’ clients. Lea moved to Venice in 2001 from Hancock, Michigan with her husband and two daughters. She has been an insurance agent both in Florida and Michigan for almost 40 years, having spent nearly 25 years with State Farm before becoming an independent agent with Joyner Family Insurance in 2010. Lea is the baby of a Finnish family who immigrated to the United States prior to her birth. Ask her about her family’s tradition of making a Michigan pasty – they are delicious! For years, Lea traveled the country with her daughter who played competitive soccer. More recently, she enjoys spending time with her five beautiful grandchildren with a 6th on the way. She loves dancing, going to the beach, boating, soaking in the sun, watching all types of movies, playing pickleball, and dining in many local restaurants.
