Thank you to everyone who generously provided referrals to us this past quarter, as we presented a virtual check for $1,170 to InStride! Due to COVID-19, we had to come up with a creative way to present InStride with our donation. After a bit of brainstorming and many outtakes later, our team put together a fun video highlighting some of the many wonderful therapies InStride offers. InStride challenges individuals to reach their fullest potential and exemplifies its belief that, “horses have the power to enrich our lives as teachers, healers, and partners.”
InStride was established in 1995 and offers a variety of therapies, including therapeutic riding and equine assisted learning programs at its outstanding sixty-two acre facility located in Nokomis. InStride is currently serving roughly 80 families per week and has approximately 100 various volunteer shift opportunities per week. The staff and volunteers at InStride are so passionate about what they do and truly provide a healing environment for their patients. Whether one is a military veteran, recovering from a traumatic brain injury or seeking a twist on traditional occupational or physical therapy, we encourage everyone to explore what InStride has to offer!
