Thank you to everyone who generously provided referrals to us this past quarter, as we presented a check for $1,810 to Military Warrior Support Foundation (MWSF), a 501(c)(3) non-profit. Founded in 2007, MWSF’s mission is “to provide programs that facilitate a smooth and successful transition for our nation’s combat-wounded veterans and Gold Star families.” MWSF offers programs that focus on a variety of things, but the housing and homeownership program has had a direct impact in our area. Our client, a wounded combat veteran, was gifted a house – mortgage free – in 2016 and said it was life changing.
Other programs include recreational activities, transportation assistance and leadership development. MWSF has awarded over 900 mortgage-free homes and payment free vehicles to combat-wounded heroes and Gold Star spouses and their families in all 50 states. What a wonderful mission to support!
