Lighthouse Vision Loss Center is a nonprofit dedicated to serving the needs of blind and visually impaired individuals in Sarasota and Manatee counties. Lighthouse programs have empowered thousands of individuals of all ages, enabling them to maintain their independence, embrace new opportunities, and improve their quality of life.
As the only nationally accredited, nonprofit organization in the region offering rehabilitation training at no cost, Lighthouse Vision Loss Center is proud to be a beacon of hope and empowerment for those navigating vision loss. Based in Sarasota, Florida, we remain committed to making a lasting difference in the lives of those we serve.
Joyner Family Insurance’s “Help Our Community” Referral Program is designed to make a difference locally—making a donation quarterly to a designated charity in recognition of referrals received. For every referral made, Joyner Family Insurance donates $10 to the Charity of the Quarter—whether or not the referral becomes a client. Since the program’s inception in 2017, Joyner Family Insurance has donated over $59,000 to charitable organizations in our local community. Community members are encouraged to participate as it’s an easy way to support local causes while helping friends and neighbors explore their insurance options.
